About this Role:


Specific Responsibilities (Data)

  • To assist with the management of student data across a range of systems used throughout Bedford Academy
  • To assist with identifying and developing a range of data that can be used to monitor attainment and achievement throughout the school.
  • To work with the Data & Timetable Manager to ensure the effective administration of pupil assessment data in the MIS and Data Analysis software as per the assessment timetable.
  • To support with the completion of the School census
  • To support the School's timetabling process.
  • To support with the preparation and distribution of student reports to students and parents/carers
  • To extract data from the MIS and other software packages as required in order to provide statistical and graphical analysis
  • Support with admitting new student and staff starters throughout the academic year.
  • Support with other data administrative tasks and provide general administrative support as required

Specific Responsibilities (Examinations)

  • To assist with all administrative, financial and external requirements relevant to examination entries and amendments process for the students of Bedford Academy.
  • Ensure that the examinations processes and procedures for Bedford Academy are in line with the Examination Boards rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a clear, organized, process for dealing and storing all incoming examination materials and papers
  • Assist with the entry of coursemark marks and sample material for moderation.
  • Assist with the production of results documentation for students
  • Assist with the planning of internal and external exams, timescales, deadlines and effective communication of exams within the school.
  • Ensuring exams are conducted to JCQ standards, including liaising with the Awarding Bodies.
  • Support with arranging invigilation, liaising with invigilators as required
  • Checking and distribution of certificates.
  • Support with general administration required for examinations including liaising with staff.
Full time hours 08:00-16:00 Monday - Thursday 8:00-15:30 Fridays

Term-Time only

Hours may differ slightly due to exam needs
