Description
Our client, a rapidly expanding professional services firm with a European presence, is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant. This is a permanent position that will support the Finance Manager with completing daily transactional tasks.


Core duties will include:


  • Responsibility for the accounts payable function
  • Preparing payments for suppliers
  • Reconciling credit card statements, petty cash and expenses
  • Ensuring that all data entered into Xero is accurate and uptodate
  • Daily Bank reconciliation
  • Liaising with internal and external parties to resolve queries
  • Data analysis extraction and analysis of detailed costing data


To be considered for this excellent job opportunity, you will have experience in the above duties and have a good academic record (grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English).

It would also be advantageous if you are proficient in Xero and studying towards an accounting qualification such as AAT/ACCA/CIMA
