If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the esteemed Marie Curie team as a Community Fundraiser, dedicated to the Grampian and Tayside region.

They care deeply for individuals with terminal illnesses, providing them with comfort either in their homes or within their nine specialised hospices.

As a Community Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in building and developing fundraising relationships within the community.

Your expertise in providing excellent stewardship and support to Marie Curie's dedicated Fundraising Groups and volunteers will help increase vital income and contribute to their overarching Community Fundraising Strategy.


You will maintain and develop the Fundraising Group and Volunteer network, from new Fundraising Groups within the community, utilizing community days and face-to-face meetings with potential volunteers.

Induct, train, and manage volunteers, ensuring a strong and motivated team. Cultivate strong fundraising relationships with community supporters, individuals, groups, and corporate supporters.

You will represent Marie Curie confidently in various formal and informal settings, actively engaging with prospects from the Hot Prospect Action List.

Managing key campaigns at local level, such as the Great Daffodil Appeal and Blooming Great Tea Party.

Ensuring income targets are met, contributing to annual budgets, targets and plans while maintaining accurate financial and supporter records while adhering to policies, procedures, and legal frameworks.
