Description

We are looking for a Clinical Physiologist to join our friendly team in a new post at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield.


The department undertakes a wide range of investigations, with patients of all ages from a variety of specialities and has two dedicated Neurophysiology Consultants.

The investigations include routine, sleep deprived and melatonin induced sleep EEGs in the department.

In-patient workload from the wards including ICU and SCBU, Evoked potentials along with Nerve Conduction Studies for the investigation of carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar and peripheral neuropathies, and EMG.


You will be experienced in performing EEG in a wide range of patients, including children and neonates, and EPs and NCS for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

You should hold BSc in Clinical Physiology or Part I ECNE or equivalent and preferably be registered with RCCP.

Attendance at professional meetings is encouraged and personal development is supported.

Our department has a pleasant and spacious working environment with recently updated new equipment for all tests.
