This role would suit somebody who is either newly qualified senior Accountant, looking to step up and take on some managerial responsibilities.

Or perhaps somebody who is already an Assistant Manager, but who has a desire to work with clients from the Musicand Entertainment Industry.


As an Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, payments, and budgeting for clients within the Music and Entertainment industry ranging from individuals, unincorporated businesses, partnerships and incorporated companies
  • Work successfully with team manager and partners to ensure all statutory deadlines and requirements for accounts, tax, VAT and any other financial compliance are met
  • Prepare year end account
  • Prepare and review VAT returns
  • Manage all receivables, payables and assist with the maintenance and reviewing of accounting records
  • Handle all aspects of the clients financial and personal affairs, as per the client's needs and acting as the first point of contact for clients, their other advisers and third parties
  • Delegate to and oversee team members responsible for payments and data entry, assisting them with their development and managing their workload to ensure deadlines are met

As an Assistant Manager, you will need:

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified or substantial relevant experience
  • Minimum of 4 years' general experience in accountancy/audit
  • Experience using CaseWare, Xero, QuickBooks Online
  • Knowledge of basic and common FRS102/FRS 105 standards
  • Some experience leading teams, including training more junior/semiseniors
