Join us as a Corporate Tax Analyst

  • We're looking for someone to prepare and support the delivery of corporation tax compliance and tax accounts for portfolio subsidiary entities covering multiple jurisdictions
  • You'll support the transfer pricing activities of intragroup transactions, payment settlements and ledger management tax processes
  • This is your chance to make an impact through your work as you support the tax account ledger management and reconciliation process and the operation of transfer pricing practices

What you'll do

In this role, you'll be responsible for corporation tax, transfer pricing and VAT compliance and advisory matters, including subsidiaries, tax reporting on consolidated financial statements for our organisation and activities associated with intra-group transactionsin a large multi-jurisdiction group.

As well as this, you'll control and administer corporation tax payments, controls and tax accounting aspects of our external financial reporting obligations.

You'll provide monthly, quarterly, half yearly, and annual reports to help with account bookings, andhelp with ad hoc tax projects as required.


Furthermore, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the governance associated with making sure that all tax compliance matters are efficiently managed
  • Helping with various areas of the business to ensure accurate VAT compliance on an ongoing basis while creating a portfolio of corporate tax computations for a portfolio of legal entities
  • Providing input into and assisting with the corporation tax processes and plans for submission to tax authorities
  • Documenting the governance of regular meetings required to meet tax compliance obligations while supporting the tax accounting and disclosures for the inclusion in statutory accounts
  • Delivering specialist input for our tax advisers where required, such as the quarterly processes for the corporation tax instalment and the filing of annual corporate tax returns

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you'll need a professional accounting qualification with proven accounting abilities or experience in the preparation and review of tax returns.

We'll need you to have knowledge of corporation tax. You'll also have an understanding of industry account principles and a general business and commercial awareness.

In addition, you'll need:

  • Good analytical skills to review data used in the preparation of tax returns, transfer pricing processes and VAT compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of Windows, Excel and Word, alongside great interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and resolve conflict
  • An understanding of how to maintain working relationships with other finance and tax teams and how to collaborate with other business areas to achieve team and business objectives
  • The ability to handle a high volume workload on a regular basis within overall deadlines and to service standards
  • An excellent understanding of how to deliver and maintain a best in class taxation service
Salary starting from £35,403 to £46,708 depending on location and experience
