Following the appointment of a new senior leadership team in Finance we are expanding and adapting to create a supportive team that anticipates and collaboratively solves problems, helping us deliver an ambitious programme that reaches across all areas oflocal authority operation and interest.

The Finance Manger Treasury and Lender will report to the Head of Finance (Capital and Treasury) providing a Treasury Management service across the Council and working closely with wholly owned companies who have been given funding by the Council.

Ensuing the continuous review and delivery of the Councils Treasury Strategy
Working closely with stakeholders across the Council to ensure an accurate cashflow forecast
Reviewing and improving the cashflow forecasting across the Council
Manage the lender relationship between the Council and wholly owned companies

To be suitable for the role you need to be a qualified accountant or part qualified and actively studying for such a qualification with a sound understanding of local authority treasury management and experience of producing reports for senior stakeholders.
