Irvine on a part-time (16 hours per week) basis.


The Role


You'll become part a small, friendly, well established team who support a fun loving lady with learning disabilities in her own home.

You'll assist with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, housework, shopping, medication, personal care and finances.


As the lady we support enjoys attending local activities, being out and about in her local community and the odd tribute night, we are looking for someone who is fun and outgoing that can think on their feet.


About you

We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too
**What we need you to bring: - **- A caring attitude and approach

  • Good at communication skills
  • An understanding of the important of following guidelines and routines
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • The ability to cook

Shift Patterns

  • As we're dedicated to providing support tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns will usually involve working within the hours of hours, however, we will need you to be flexible and willing to work a split shift or later on occasion to accommodate for planned activities. Weekends and public holidays will also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.
  • As this lady enjoys getting away to enjoy the odd holiday too, you may be asked to travel with her and support her for the duration she is away.
