Our client Kids Industries was the very first agency to specialise in the family market and is recognised as the leading global research, strategy and creative agency in the sector, focusing exclusively on the most exciting, engaging and imaginative audiencesegment.

Kids industries are a dedicated team of marketers, designers, researchers, producers, developers and strategists and work globally with current projects in 12 countries.

They build global websites, no.

1 apps, developed new TV stations, created new cereals,designed the interior of cruise ships, planned theme parks and launched new products with award winning work.

They have celebrated their 20th anniversary as an independent agency and are growing rapidly.


Responsibilities will include:

Research: Methodology selection, creation of research materials and the fieldwork itself (you will lead your own research projects, being responsible for research materials and execution. You will be confident building screeners, discussionguides, stimulus and surveys and in presenting clear rationale to your decision making as well as being able to delegate some tasks to junior team members. You will also have experience of executing all stages of a research project yourself).

Qualitative research: Moderating skillfully and drawing conclusions (you will have experience of moderating under different set-ups (focus groups, depth interviews, communities, diaries) with the ability to recommend and deliver the rightformat for the interview as well as a highly skilled adaptable moderator experience who can adapt to all audiences of all ages)

Research analysis: story-telling, presenting and learning to connect the dots (you will have experience of delivering immersive reports with strong rationale, with the ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues to make researchreports actionable)

Research proposals and new business (you will take a leading role in developing research proposals, working with the agency leadership and client services teams to determine the approach of projects)

Maintaining and Supporting Client relationships (you will ask the right questions, providing relevant information about current projects, maintaining dialogue with proactive insights in between projects)


Expected experience and competencies Kids Industries would like to see from you:

  • At least 5 years' experience in commercial qualitative research, either client or agency side
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience in successfully managing full research projects as well as client relationships
  • Commitment to delivering top quality work
  • Ability to work as a member of a closelyknit interdisciplinary team
  • A thirst for learning about and supporting our clients in delivering value to children's' lifestyles, from technology, to food, to games
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure, the agency can be busy but are also hugely collaborative and exciting environments. The right person will thrive in this space
  • The ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and collaborate with all team members
  • Experience of working with children and families for instance as a teacher, or youth group leader, if not as a researcher (preferred but not essential)


This is a full-time permanent role; usual working hours are Monday to Friday working 7.5 hours daily, starting anytime between 8:30am and 10am, and finishing anytime between 5pm and 6:30pm with an unpaid hour for lunch.
