Job Description:


You will play a key role as part of the Senior Management Team of this not for profit business and be focussed on delivery on the member first strategy of the organisation.

You will take full responsibility for the marketing department as well as managing allaspects of member engagement, communications and experience.

You will ensure that the organisation is achieving increased member satisfaction and you will own the member journey, improving conversions and speed.

You will deliver both external and internalcommunications and set the member and marketing strategy alongside the CEO and Senior Management Team.

You'll develop Branding and raise awareness of the organisation and manage the Business Development Manager as well as managing the relationships with externalstakeholders and partners.


Key Areas of delivery:

  • Championing the member both internally and externally.
  • Increasing member numbers across all products.
  • Understanding member lifetime value
  • Overseeing marketing and business development department.
  • Evaluating, developing and owning the organisation's marketing strategy and marketing plan, including social media, content marketing, direct advertising and branding
  • Manage the marketing budget.
  • Communicate the marketing plan.
  • Research demand for our products and services.
  • Develop new products and services, within a risk and compliance framework
  • Improving understanding of demographics of existing and prospective members.
  • Increasing brand awareness and cut through in more affluent demographic
  • Competitor research.
  • Develop product and pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying and developing new prospective partners.
  • Developing promotions with marketing manager.
  • Improve and report on ROI of marketing and business development budgets.
  • Developing and managing advertising campaigns.
  • Building brand awareness and positioning.
  • Developing the Business development function to deliver increased beneficial partnerships both new and existing.
  • Oversee key stakeholder relationships.
  • Attending relevant conferences, trade shows, and major events.
  • Owning internal communications
  • Develop and launch organisation's CSR strategy
  • Full responsibility for financial promotions in line with regulatory responsibility.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Experience of managing a team, preferably in a call centre/customer facing environment.
  • Demonstration of a high level of initiative and forward thinking.
  • Well developed Financial Skills
  • Well developed IT skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • A flexible approach to business needs
