A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join a lovely HR team with the most amazing manager.

This role is to join a healthcare company that owns over 80 care homes across the UK.
This role is based out of one of the homes based in Solihull, Birmingham, Warwickshire, Coventry or Nottingham.


Please Note - This is a hybrid working role but you will be required to work from 2-3 homes local to you each week.

The home you would work from has it's own office space and you will be in amongst the team that work there.

The reason for being based in the office is so HR has a presence in the Northern region.

Salary = £35,000 per annum

Duties include:


  • Be the first point of contact for the care home managers for HR advice
  • Work proactively as part of the HR team assisting and supporting the deliver of the HR strategy
  • Support with employee relations issues include, grievance, disciplinary and capability processes
  • Assist with HR administration
  • Advise on and support consultation and implementation processes for organisational change
  • Support the HR manager with development of HR strategy for the Northern region
  • Support the design and delivery of people management training and development
  • Prepare associated documentation
  • Support managers with absence management and keeping record
  • Work closely with the training and recruitment teams to support with the recruitment and retention strategy
  • Process HR data reports to agreed standards
  • Prepare and issue contracts of employment
  • Will have previous HR Advisor experience
  • Will have experience of employee relations including being part of the disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Will ideally be CIPD qualified but is no essential
  • Will have previous worked for a HR department with multiple site responsibility. This is ideal but not essential
  • Sound understanding of employment law
  • Proven track record of resolving sickness and performance issues
