Material Flow Leader

Pay Rate:
up to £27.79/hr Ltd Umbrella (inside IR35)

Contract Position based at:
Solihull

Position Description:


This is an opportunity to work in the plant material flow team, responsible for delivering all on plant logistics solutions and infrastructure.

Additionally, driving improvement and efficiencies in existing solutions aligned to MP&L strategy.

This role will be responsible for delivering improvements within the existing shops and supporting delivery of the new model solutions.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


  • Manage internal projects (Ignite, kaizens, MVB) through from concept stage to implementation.
  • Planning, procurement, installation and commissioning of production and logistics facilities.
  • Coordination with our LLP to drive improvements in marketplace and sequencing operations Marketplace & lineside layout ACAD design and implementation.
  • Data analysis, development and implementation of improvement plans. (Layouts, desequencing, packaging, internal logistics)
  • Input and maintenance of key Material Flow Data in PODs
  • Support department with project cost submissions and reviews.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Data analytic demonstrable experience.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Be Computer literate and proficient in all relevant business systems, including knowledge of MS Office
  • Data analytic demonstrable experience
  • Ability to write technical reports and present ideas
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Track record of kaizen delivery
  • Have an understanding of all current Business Objectives/Behaviours
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally

Preferred:


  • Knowledge of CMMS3 and SAP Knowledge of ACAD
