Overview:

Change Grow Live are a charity dedicated to the belief that we can make a difference to our Service Users lives, offering support and respect in a safe environment, treating each user as an individual and working with them to find the right treatment and care options.

We have an exciting opportunity for an
Community Programme Facilitator to join the Sefton service.

Your focus will be on delivering and developing group/pod work programmes, such as Foundations of Recovery, you will be required to deliver group work and working on a one to one basis.


No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

Hours: 37.5 per week


Salary:
£27, £31,529.41 dependent on experience


Responsibilities:


About the role:


  • Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
  • Engage with debriefing and evaluations with cofacilitator/s after groups/pods have taken place
  • Lead on graduation events for service users who have completed the programme
  • Review service user feedback and make adjustments as necessary
  • Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the SUs, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc
  • Research and confirm community venues as needed.

About you:


  • Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour
  • Experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social Interventions
  • Ability to understand the specific needs of groups
  • Understanding of evidence based interventions in a group work setting including around substance misuse and offending behaviour (desirable but not essential)
