Reporting to:
Office Manager and HR Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities

To provide professional and efficient support across a range of administrative tasks both in head office and on projects (construction sites)


Key Duties:
(duties include, but not limited to)

  • Support the main receptionist with all reception duties including
  • When not on front desk, take calls from overflow system.
  • Handling enquiries appropriately
  • Manage the shared mailbox.
  • Management of meeting rooms, preparation and organisation.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties including but not limited to scanning, binding, photocopying, stationary orders, PPE management.
  • Meet and greet visitors and staff to site.
  • Support office manager with SCAS (Supply Chain Approval System)
  • Uploading information onto various systems.
  • Support Learning & Development and HR activities through administration of training events, interviews, work experience and similar.
  • Send invitations, create registers and coordinate attendees.
  • Liaising with training providers to book training courses and training venues.
  • Chase information and data from various sources
  • Update trackers
  • Providing holiday cover on sites for project administrators fulfilling their duties.
  • Provider other administrative support to senior members of staff as and when required to ensure smooth running of the office.
Key Skills

  • Logical, well organised.
  • Good level of IT competence (word/excel/power point etc).
  • Numerate, literate and accurate.
  • Good presentation.
  • Positive response to pressure.
  • Team player.
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly.

Job Types:
Full-time, Apprenticeship


Salary:
£12,000.00-£16,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
