Description

**Key Areas of Responsibility**- Performs the activities involved in distributing goods to the customer. This role involves categorizing and grouping consignments against customer orders and processing the shipment using SAP as well as producing necessary customs and clearance documents. The individual can follow a shipping schedule and interacts with sales and external parties to ensure lead times align with customer expectations.

Responsible for the distribution of raw materials and finished goods to suppliers and customers via Road, Sea, and Air.
Responsible for grouping consignments into the most costeffective shipping configuration utilizing courier and freight services for Road, Sea and Air.
Responsible for ensuring the selected shipping channel aligns with customer lead times.
Providing clear communication to sales and distribution centers on order status and estimated lead times.
Provide Advanced Shipment Notifications to the Stryker Freight team to ensure the most efficient channels and customs pathways are used for goods in transit.
Provide endofday shipment reports including tracking information to Courier services and CDCs.
Produce Commercial invoice documentation for shipping goods outside of the UK.
Responsible for leasing with carriers and freight forwarders
Utilization of SAP to backflush and generate delivery notes.
Liaise directly with freight carriers to provide consignment information of overall weights, dimensions, and description of contents.

Qualifications

Desirable: GCSE Maths and English: Grade C or above.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of warehousing/distribution experience

System/Computer Requirements:

Competency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Competency with SAP

Ability to utilise problemsolving skills for goods held in transit.
Ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
