Purchase Ledger Clerk - Temporary


We are looking for a passionate and pro-active purchase ledger clerk to join a well-established Estate Agents based in York.


Salary; £12.00 per hour


Working hours:
Monday-Friday, 9.00am-17.30pm (30 Mins unpaid Lunch)


This is a 6 month Temporary contract

The main duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Payment runs
  • Ensure invoices are coded to the correct nominal ledger codes
  • Review aged creditor balances and resolve discrepancies quickly
  • Some elements of credit control

As a purchase ledger clerk you will:

  • Have end to end purchase ledger experience
  • Be meticulous with great attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Be a fantastic communicator
  • Be used to working to deadlines
  • Have experience with Sage
