£28,016.00 per annum (inclusive of on call / standby payment)

Hours: 40 hours a week
We are advertising this Depot Maintenance Assistant role on behalf of our client 'CBES'.

Job Purpose:

This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance at a single site depot.

The role will involve painting, basic plumbing, basic joinery, general maintenance work and you will be assisting the Depot Maintenance Techniciansin order to carry out fabric and maintenance work.


All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down company Health and Safety policy.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:


  • NVQ Level 3 within carpentry/ joinery or equivalent
  • Reactive/ planned building maintenance experience
  • Previous experience in building maintenance
  • Ability to repair and maintain a range of equipment
  • Respond to service call requests within agreed timescales
  • Full Driving Licence and flexible to travel when required for on call purposes
