School Administrator


Overview:

The School Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school by overseeing administrative functions, managing personnel, and facilitating communication between staff, students, and parents.


Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Oversight:
Supervising and coordinating daily administrative operations including scheduling, facilities management, and record-keeping.

Personnel Management:
Recruiting, training, and supervising administrative staff, ensuring their performance aligns with school objectives.

Budget Management:
Assisting in budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and maintaining financial records in accordance with school policies.

Communication Liaison:
Facilitating effective communication between school stakeholders, including staff, parents, students, and external entities.

Policy Implementation:
Ensuring compliance with school policies, regulations, and legal requirements while implementing necessary changes or updates.

Event Coordination:
Organizing school events, meetings, and functions, overseeing logístical arrangements to ensure successful outcomes.

Data Management:
Maintaining accurate student records, attendance, and academic information using appropriate software or systems.

Support to Leadership:

Collaborating with school leadership to develop strategies for enhancing school performance, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting educational goals.


Qualifications and Skills:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications is advantageous.

Experience:
Previous experience in school administration or educational management is preferred, showcasing strong organizational and leadership skills.

Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Problem-Solving:
Ability to analyze situations, make decisions, and resolve issues efficiently.

Technology Proficiency:
Proficient in using office software and management systems for data analysis, reporting, and communication purposes.

Leadership Abilities:
Demonstrated leadership qualities, including team management, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.


This role demands a dynamic individual capable of managing various administrative tasks, fostering a collaborative environment, and contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the school's operations.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£41.39-£120.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • North Finchley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • SIMS: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
