Fixed Asset Accountant role based in Bradford


Client Details
My client is in the not for profit and charities sector based in Bradford with on-site parking available.

This will be a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity cover, and there will be a handover period with this person before they go on leave.


Description


For the Fixed Asset Accountant role the main responsibilities will be maintaining the fixed asset register alongside the finance team.

You will also be doing the month-end ledger close, processing journals and interfaces, processing transactions with additionsand disposals, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly reporting.


Profile


Having a good knowledge of the fixed asset registers and accounting or fixed assets is what they are ideally looking for.

An understanding of financial procedures, and internal financial controls would be desirable too.

You will have the ability to workwell within a team, have good communication skills, strong with Excel, and have the ability to notice when something may need improvement or new ideas.
