Insignis Talent are proud to be working with a highly respected client who is seeking a skilled and passionate HSE Officer to join their team in Hitchen.

As an HSE Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the health, safety, and environmental standards within the organization.

You will work closely with colleagues at all levels to promote a culture of safety, and to ensure that the higheststandards are met across the board.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement.

You will be a natural communicator, able to engage and inspire colleagues to embrace best practicesand to prioritize health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications/Experience/Training:

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent);
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages;
12 years' experience in similar dedicated HSE role:
Good verbal, non-verbal & written communication skills
Good level knowledge on Health & Safety legislation such as PUWER, LOLER & COSHH

Desirable Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar manufacturing environment
Ability to develop & delivery training materials;
Experience working with HSE management software
Basic understanding of requirements of HSE management systems ISO14001 & ISO4500
Basic understanding of principles of Lean manufacturing
