Main Duties

Experience of:

Undertaking simple repairs and maintenance work
Premises management
Working alone

Qualifications/Training:

Clean drivers' licence
Handling and lifting awareness
Ladder training
Customer care
Basic Health & Safety

Knowledge/Skills:

The applicant must be comfortable with the aspect of driving the company van, there is a requirement to routinely deliver goods to customers in the South East area of the UK as required and daily transfer of products and materials to our other factory in Hastings.
Ability to perform breakdown and routine maintenance on a variety of machines not requiring a contractor
Previous experience of carrying out basic repairs, Electrical, Pneumatic and Liquid handling, not requiring a contractor
Ability to undertake some basic buildings maintenance not requiring a contractor
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
Carry out routine PAT tests to a range of appliances (Training will be given on the use of the equipment)
The successful applicant must be communicative and reports to a number of line managers.

Physical Requirements:

Clean and tidy appearance
Able to stand for long periods
Polite and friendly manner to other members of staff
Good listening skills

Completion of basic paperwork

Monday - Thursday; 7.30am - 4.30pm

Friday; 7.30am - 1.30pm
