At this agency PR Account Executives are responsible for the effective support of their clients and play a vital part of the PR teams.
You will be working closely with PR Account managers and PR Account directors, and be supported in your role by your accountteams as well as your personal line manager who are there to mentor and advise, and ensure that you can continue to grow and develop.
You will work on traditional PR campaigns, as well as for social and digital focused projects.Along with your PR Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for most of your clients, and you will spend time developing strong working relationshipswith them.
Media relations will be a key element of your role, and you will use your growing knowledge of the media landscape to effectively sell-in stories to get results for your clients.
Outside of traditional media, you will use established skills in social mediaand digital to effectively utilise a variety of channels on behalf of your clients and the agency itself.
What we're looking for
In a perfect world you will have around a year's PR experience gained with an agency or busy in-house PR department.
You will be able to manage workloads across client accounts and effectively manage time, prioritising work and efficiently supporting theclient teams.
You will be able to take responsibility and be fully accountable for managing delegated projects, as well as overseeing day to day activity.
As part of your role, you must develop a good understanding of how the media works and as you progress, be able to tailor materials to suit different outlets - both social and traditional.
You'll be able to develop experience in creating social content andhave a good understanding of social media channels, digital services and what is 'good' writing and develop the ability to draft a variety of written materials - press releases, features, social media content.
