Database Administrator - Technology Provider - 40,000 - £50,000 - Kent
Overview:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain specialist knowledge of database concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles
- Monitor database activity, trends and resources and being responsible for initiating exercises to optimise performance as well as forecasting future resource demands, presenting and preparing casing for additional resources as appropriate
- Lead on and ensure that backups are carried our as per agreed plans and manage exercises to prove recovery procedures
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Solid experience working on SQL databases.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, ideally Azure.
Package:
- £40,000 - £50,000
- Hybrid working (1 day a week in Kent office)
- Training and courses provided
