Riversdale Residential Home 14-16 Riversdale Road, West Kirby, Wirral, CH48 4EZ _(As part of We Care Group, you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice)_

Job Overview

administration service for our Home. With a welcoming manner.


Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be passionate about working with vulnerable adults

Responsibilities and Duties of the Job

  • Implement actions to meet and maintain administrative and financial standards.
  • Assist in the development of the philosophy, goals, and objectives for the administrative and financial practice.
  • Evaluate standards of administrative and financial competence.
  • Managing incoming/outgoing posts.
  • Transferring weekly hours staff have worked onto the weekly hour sheet ready for payroll.
  • Complete the resident's details form with information passed from the home manager.
  • Dealing with Admission details.
  • Send the Admission/Discharge form to Head Office.
  • Updating the homes occupancy list.
  • Dealing with invoices.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing calls taking messages at medication rounds unless a GP, Hospital, or important calls need to be dealt with asap.
  • Credit care summary ensuring all receipts are attached and sent to Head Office accordingly.
  • Banking makes sure receipts are issued and a copy is attached to the Banking Sheet, with visits to the bank during work time.
  • Dealing with Petty cash, and residents' allowance.
  • Processing prerecruitment checks for new starters.
  • Recording of sickness/absence.
  • Keeping personal files up to date.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
  • To maintain administrative and financial skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
  • To provide administrative and financial services for We Care Group by current best practices.
  • To supervise the administrative and financial services within We Care Group. by agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations, in line with accepted best practices and within the financial plans agreed upon from time to time.
  • Develop effective working relationships with other We Care Group employees.
  • Work to establish effective employeremployee relationships.
  • Cooperate with all new employees' implementation, evaluation, orientation, and induction.
  • Support the effective resolution of team conflicts.
  • Promote a positive image for the people and employees of We Care Group.
  • Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Personal Responsibilities
Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management
- (Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required)_
