HLTA - Higher Learning Teaching Assistant

Location:
Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Pay:

£100-£115 per day (PAYE)

DegreeSix are currently working with a SEND education school in Derbyshire who are currently looking for HLTA's to work in their Ilkeston site.

This independent SEND school support students with a balanced curriculum and a wide range of vocational options such as; Sports, Mechanics, Creative Arts and many more.

In this role, you will be expected to help with planning and prepping of a flexible curriculum, as well as teaching 1:1 and small groups.

You will be required to have a driving license and your own vehicle as you will need to be travelling to specified sites.

The working pattern for this role is, Monday - Friday, 8:30pm - 4pm. Part-time is considered however a minimum of 18 hours is still expected.

The Role:

Creating lesson plans and assessments
Ensuring students are completing their work
Managing classroom behaviour and adhering to school policy

SEN experience is essential
