Cleaning Team Leader - 07:00-15:30, Mon-Fri:
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Westminster


Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our Facilities Management team at a key central government building in Westminster.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week from 07:00 to 15:30, Mon to Fri.


The role:


  • Reporting to the HES Manager
  • To lead the housekeeping team ensuring the building is cleaned to the approved standards
  • To carry out cleaning duties and waste management in accordance with the SLAs
  • Responsible for managing and motivating staff to maximise departmental stability and ensure high standard of customer care
  • To assist HES Manager with the coordination of day to day and periodic cleaning schedules
  • To inform relevant managers of any problems, client or staff related and ensure all HR matters are addressed and company procedures are applied
  • To help coordinate staff briefings as requested by the HES Manager
  • To assist in training using BICS as a guide
  • Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30

The person:


  • Previous experience in a similar role, working with, and supervising a diverse work force is essential
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people
  • Must have IT skills and be familiar with computerised facilities management systems
  • Will have the ability to use own initiative and work under pressure, while maintaining good attention to detail
  • A team player with a flexible, conscientious approach to the work
  • Desirable to be BICS stage 1 qualified

Employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 5 years' residency in the UK and a valid passport.
