Cleaning Team Leader - 07:00-15:30, Mon-Fri:
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Westminster

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our Facilities Management team at a key central government building in Westminster.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week from 07:00 to 15:30, Mon to Fri.

The role:

Reporting to the HES Manager
To lead the housekeeping team ensuring the building is cleaned to the approved standards
To carry out cleaning duties and waste management in accordance with the SLAs
Responsible for managing and motivating staff to maximise departmental stability and ensure high standard of customer care
To assist HES Manager with the coordination of day to day and periodic cleaning schedules
To inform relevant managers of any problems, client or staff related and ensure all HR matters are addressed and company procedures are applied
To help coordinate staff briefings as requested by the HES Manager
To assist in training using BICS as a guide
Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30

The person:

Previous experience in a similar role, working with, and supervising a diverse work force is essential
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people
Must have IT skills and be familiar with computerised facilities management systems
Will have the ability to use own initiative and work under pressure, while maintaining good attention to detail
A team player with a flexible, conscientious approach to the work
Desirable to be BICS stage 1 qualified

Employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 5 years' residency in the UK and a valid passport.
