Description

The successful Finance Officer will be expected to:

  • Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into Sage 50 Accounts;
  • Enter information into SAP Concur and ensure expense entries are accurate
  • Manage and reconcile the accounts payable and accounts receivable;
  • Process income and transactions in multiple currencies;
  • Process payable invoices and staff expenses on SAP Concur and Sage 50;
  • Act as a point of contact for suppliers, handling remittance advice and queries;
  • Perform monthly supplier account reconciliations;
  • Reconcile the monthly bank statements in multiple currencies for review by the Head of Finance;
  • Maintain petty cash accounts and expenditure;

Profile

The successful Finance Officer will have:

  • Previous experience of SAGE 50 accounting software;
  • Experience of SAP Concur
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in relevant comparable roles within the charity sector;
  • A qualification in bookkeeping or accountancy such as AAT;
  • An understanding of charity finance, including knowledge of how to process donations
