Who are we?
Airport Facilities Maintenance Limited (AFML) are a maintenance company running reactive and quoted works through Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Luton and other Airports up and down the country.
We have multiple branches of AFML, and this job role will be based at our Gatwick office, situated just south of Gatwick in the Manor Royal Business District.
This is where you'll be based as we expand the team further and grow the client list further.What we are looking for:
We're looking for an organised Maintenance Planner who's quick-thinking and versatile, proactive and can work as part of a team; the kind of person who can turn their hand to anything at a moment's notice to ensure that employees have everything they need to do their jobs and that the company runs efficiently.
What you need to have:
Good IT knowledge
A keen positive attitude
To be able to work well in a team
Organisational skills necessary to manage and organise own workload
The ability to communicate effectively at levels commensurate with role, both verbally and in writing
The ability to respond to changing priorities in order to meet deadlines.
Your role will consist of (but isn't limited to);
- The raising of maintenance jobs on our CAFM system
- The issuing of maintenance jobs to our engineer's PDAs
- The updating of client systems
- The ordering and maintaining of materials
- The updating of Timesheets on our CAFM system
- The updating of petty cash
- The organising of the engineers diary's
- The booking in of works with restaurants, homeowners, sites etc
- The production and supply of job sheets to clients
- The updating of a training matrix for the engineers
- The taking of phone calls from clients and engineers providing updates and necessary info where required
- The procurement of visitor and permanent airside passes for visiting clients & operatives
- The submission of work permits to allow us to undertake planned work
Pay:
£25,000.00 per year

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Technical support: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
