Arden Maidstone is looking for a Group Maintenance Operative.


Your role


This is an exciting opportunity for either a trainee, or experienced Maintenance Operative, who is motivated, friendly, hard-working and passionate.


The purpose of the job is the general upkeep of specified areas of work within the site grounds, this will cover Arden Maidstone and Arden Tunbridge Wells premises.


Maintenance Operative Responsibilities:

  • To prepare, paint, and decorate as required dealership showrooms and public areas to a high standard.
  • Address any maintenance issues required while on site.
  • Complete any decorating to schedule on time and to the required standard.
  • Ensure the safe storage of all paints and solvents.
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and keep working areas clean and organised.
  • Follow all health and safety rules within the department.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with customers.
  • To maintain a neat personal appearance.
  • To ensure all equipment and tools are safe and correctly used.

Your profile

Experience required:

  • General plumbing, painting and electrical and carpentry skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Hold a current clean UK driving licence.
Cherry picker licence preferable but not essential.
