Responsibilities:
- Provide teaching assistance aligned with the teacher's weekly/daily/seasonal planning
- Work 1:1 with students
- Facilitate group and/or individual activities as planned by the teacher
- Work individually with learners/students to develop their work
- Support the general wellbeing of learners within the school's structure
- Monitor and evaluate students' learning under the teacher's guidance
- Assist teachers in employing relevant management strategies for a purposeful teaching and learning environment
- Support all learners in their planned structured work across all curriculum areas
Requirements:
- Ability to work with learners with various learning difficulties
- Understanding of students with special needs
- Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Flexibility in approach to education
- Experience in working in SEND settings is desirable but not essential
- Must be eligible to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one
