Role:
Children's Home Deputy Manager
Salary:
Upto £32,500 per annum dependent on experience/qualifications
Hours:
Full-time; Permanent (
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm, with some flexibility to meet the needs of the home)

Shropshire region.
Acorn Education and Care work directly with vulnerable children with Learning Disabilities and complex needs.
This means that the Children we care for may need support to develop their day-to-day skills, including communication and practical skills.
Theymay also need support to complete their personal care.The home is based in Shrewsbury.

Our next Deputy Manager will be someone who has:

Mandatory:Level 3 Diploma
- Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
- Experience of working in a residential setting
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children's Act and Quality Care Standards
- Experience of leading and motivating teams
- Ability to effectively train individuals and groups
