Competitive hourly rate

Our client, a leading manufacturing business, is looking for CNC Machinists for their newly refurbished, state of the art facilities in Leicester.

The roles are a result of the company's predicted growth over the next few months.

This is an exciting opportunityto join a rapidly growing business that has recently secured some long-term contracts with large clients.


CNC Machinist

Job Specification:


  • Setting and operating CNC Lathes or Milling machines.
  • Using and controlling CNC programs according to relevant procedures.
  • Reading and understanding all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation.
  • Being able to read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
  • Understanding varying set up parameters and their effects on the process (i.e., datum setting, tool length, wear offsets).
  • Reading and understanding the requirements on the Job Card for the operation to be completed.
  • Reading and understanding all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation.
  • Carrying out in process inspection in accordance with relevant inspection plans to ensure conformity.

CNC Machinist

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:


  • Ability to set and operate CNC machines (at least 2 Axis)
  • Experience machining complex components (ideally within aerospace, automotive, defense, etc.)
  • Wellversed machining metals or alloys.
