Description

Quality Inspector

Responsible for first off inspection of a range of bespoke precision components.
Excellent working culture. Day shift pattern 7:30am to 4:30pm Mon
Thurs, and a 12:30pm Friday finish.
Opportunities for overtime and training on wider metrology / CMM machinery.

Salary:
c£16.00 per hour. Overtime x1.33 midweek, x1.5 Saturday. Days only role.

We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established manufacturer that make special purpose components used within a range of sectors.

Training can be provided in certain areas for the right person.

Quality Inspector Activities & Responsibilities:

Using calibration equipment to inspect precision machined components.
Learning / operating a CMM.
Other associated quality inspection duties such as compiling FAIR's etc.
Working alongside the wider production team to ensure deadlines are achieved.

Required Skills & Experience as Quality Inspector:

Proven quality Inspection experience within an engineering environment.
Capable of using some measuring tools micrometers, verniers etc.
A formal engineering qualification/apprentice trained would be an advantage.
