AM2PM Recruitment is looking for a Print/Ink Assistant to work for our client who is located in Marston Green.

The Business:

Your role will be to support the Print manager and assist in the day to day running of the ink department.

This role involves but is not limited to:
Maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards

Monitor stocks of supplies

Assist the Machine Operators should any minor adjustments be required, making any changes to the system recipe as required.

Maintain and optimise waste inks and solvent, ensuring waste generated is minimised as much as possible.

Help with the offloading of ink deliveries and support stock takes and re-ordering of ink supplies.

Dispensing inks inline with production plans

Provide support and assist in the timely supply of correct inks to the production department.

Able to work unsupervised and adapted to physical work

Responsible for the blending of inks to meet customer requirements. You will be required to undertake colour matching, assisting on trials and stock management

Maintaining dispensing system

Unloading ink deliveries and storing them in the correct location

Your Skills and Abilities:

Experience of inks an advantage

A good eye for colour

Experience of working in print ideally in manufacturing

Able to work on own initiative

An effective team player and communicator

IT competent with MS Office

Good numeracy and literacy skill

Strong communication skills
