The role:


  • Developing brand new eCommerce websites on Shopify Plus
  • Maintaining current websites
  • Planning and scoping projects with our business development teams
  • Ensuring you meet deadlines for all projects
  • Working will other teams, including ecommerce, marketing, customer services and operations
  • Ongoing support including fixing bugs, testing site speed, site optimisation, and building new pages
  • Participating in project meetings to give feedback on technical requirements
  • Use markup languages like HTML to create userfriendly web pages
  • Write clean, semantic and reusable code ready to be built into the Shopify platform
  • Design mobilebased features and new websites
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve usability
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides
  • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

Requirements:

This role is ideal for a talented developer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality Shopify eCommerce projects.


  • Extensive experience building and managing Shopify websites
  • You can diagnose, fix bugs, and resolve bottlenecks
  • Ability to develop advanced features within Shopify's framework, such as subscriptions, custom checkouts (either via Shopify Plus or with a 3rd party), upselling/cross selling, custom fields and more
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Liquid and Node, React, SQL, Ruby, Python
  • Working within a team of other developers
  • Excellent understanding of UI/UX processes and best practices
  • An understanding of the principles of CRO
  • A strong understanding of agile project management
