The Role:


Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division hire a range of equipment across the construction, utilities and infrastructure industries supplying Temporary works solutions including Trench/Drag boxes, Manhole boxes, hydraulic frames, trench sheets and lifting accessories.


The Regional Operations Manager (Trenching & Shoring) will be responsible for maximising the profitability and effectiveness of the locations within the dedicated Region.

This includes recruiting, monitoring and managing the performance of the staff.

You will strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction by providing a consistent high quality of service, equipment, premises and people.

Managing the General Managers within the division you will also be responsible for producing accurate monthly KPI reports, identifying any failings relating to depot operations and providing solutions for improvement.


  • Significant experience managing and driving profitability within the trenching & shoring/hire industry
  • The ability to identify new opportunities in product develop and innovation
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Indepth understanding of customer success and retention strategies
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Driving License (essential)
