£25,000 per annum
Permanent role
Monday to Friday - 25hrs or 30hrs per week - flexible hours
My client can offer some flexibility on working hours and are happy to consider different variations, including 8:30am-2:30pm, 9am-3pm, 9:30am-3.30pm, or 10am-4pm.

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a forward-thinking company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire
**The Role
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer who can routinely complete monthly payroll and who would also enjoy the opportunity to learn and develop some new skills to support the wider People and Culture team in making sure all the software systemsare utilised efficiently.
These include using SAGE payroll, HRIS, LMS platform and internal intranet.
Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you will take great pride in ensuring that the colleague payroll experience is seamless, resulting in payments being accurate and on time.
You will also be fully trained other internal software systems so thisis a great opportunity to diversify and enhance your skillset.
To be successful in the role, you will need a keen eye for detail, as well as great interpersonal skills as you collaborate both within the team and across the business**Duties
- Checking and processing all personal information, ensuring starters, leavers and contract changes are processed and updated on the Sage HR system
- Running reports from the HRIS system to correctly identify overtime payments, absence deductions, and statutory pay
- Liaising effectively with line managers to resolve data entry and payroll queries
- Setting up and manage court orders and attachment of earnings in accordance with regulations
- Sending payslips within agreed timeframes
- Preparing accurate HMRC compliance documentation and producing as required
- Ensuring that all eligible colleagues are processed for auto enrolment into the workplace pension
- Processing all pension deductions correctly and providing necessary documentation
- Two years of experience of working within a payroll role
- Experience of using Sage
- A good understanding of statutory payments and legislation
- Experience of using Excel including using Vlookup
- Ability to learn and understand new systems
- Payroll qualification, such as CIPPs (desirable)
