Shropshire Community Health Trust is recruiting a number of Domestic Assistant posts based at Whitchurch Hospital.

Working as a domestic Assistant you will be maintaining the high levels of cleanliness throughout the hospital, whilst adhering to relevant policies and procedures.


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is reliable, flexible, well organised, self-motivated, has good interpersonal communication skills and is able to work effectively alone or as part of the team.

Evening shifts are required for these posts


The main duties of this role include, complete cleaning schedules on a daily basis, ensure the correct use of mechanical cleaning equipment, ensure stock is maintained, ensure the correct use of cleaning materials.


Uniform, as provided, must be worn at all times in the hospital environment and must not be worn to and from work.

A high standard of personal hygiene must be obtained.


Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust provides community-based health services for adults and children in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and some services in surrounding areas too.

These range from district nursing, health visiting and running four community hospitals through to providing very specialist community care through talented and dedicated staff.
