BOXING OPERATIVE - 1pm finish every Friday

Starting salary:
£23,668 rising to £24,175 after 6 months

Our client is a well
- established, successful and thriving business who is expanding further. There is _
total job security_ at this company as they have been established for over 50 years. Now looking for a Boxing Operative to work with timber packing cases and boxing components. The role is permanent and based in a friendly and supportive team.

The duties:

Producing timber packing cases and boxing various components and lifts
Moving the packing cases accordingly
Moving materials around as required
Liaison with different production departments
Assisting in other departments when necessary
Ensure that the work area is maintained to high standards and the area is kept tidy
Working to schedules and deadlines
Ensure that PPE (protective equipment) is worn such as footwear, eye protection, etc.
Responsible for any other ad hoc duties as required

The person:

Punctual and reliable
An interest in woodwork or carpentry an advantage
Good manual skills
Quick learner
Well organised and ability to work in a methodical manner
The desire to commit to a full time, permanent role
Happy working in a team
