Programme Lead Supported Learning. Part Time. 22.2 hours per week. Permanent.


As a Programme Lead you will lead and oversee the coordination of courses in our specialist provision to support students who have severe, profound and complex needs, from the start of their learning journey through to successful completion and progression.


You must be an experienced teacher of young adults with a range of learning disabilities and complex needs who delivers high quality learning and teaching, have good organisational skills and excellent IT skills.

As well as coordinating provision, you will have a teaching commitment.

  • Be fully teacher qualified to Level 5 or above, e.e diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent.
  • Be qualified to level 2 or equivalent in English and maths


The Programme Lead works closely with the Programme Area Manager to monitor courses and course data and plan programmes to maximise resources and funding.

Ensuring student progress is tracked and maintained on College IT systems, and retention and achievement levels are maintained are key features of the Programme Lead's responsibilities.

In addition you will be responsible for the development and implementation of systems/processes and other improvements to support the management of learning.
