Our Walsall based manufacturing client is looking for a permanent, part-time
Purchasing Administrator to assist the buying team in their day-to-day procurement activities.

Purchasing Administrator - About the Role:

Salary:

- £9.50 per hour

Hours -28 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday 9:30 16:30

Purchasing Administrator - Key tasks Include:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Sending purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Establishing and negotiating delivery lead times with suppliers.
  • Making contact with suppliers to request quotations.
  • Keeping the supplier database updated.
  • Communicating supply/order challenges to the relevant departments
  • Managing service contracts for stationery/cleaning/packaging/copiers.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 GCSE grades A-C.
  • Competent in MS Office programmes (Word, Excel etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Confident and articulate communicator.
