Data Analyst

About the role

You will be responsible for the collation, analysis, reporting and sharing of data and information, regularly providing reports on your findings to the Boards within the organisation.

The successful applicant will develop intelligence, ensuring key performance indicators are created, maintained, shared as appropriate, considering any changing needs.

You will lead on data analysis and reporting, ensuring that the database is up to date, operating efficiently allowing the team to utilise this data to assist in their daily roles.

The post holder will be proactive in the management of their own workload, ensuring that deadlines are met in accordance with guidance from the management team.


Salary:

- £25,000 - £28,000 per annum


Location - L6


Hours - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm


Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this role heavily revolve around improving an existing database:

  • Managing the in house database, DataFile
  • To ensure that correct data from each customer & supplier is in each record, and where missing, is collected, and input it into the CRM system, making sure this data is processed correctly will allow customer & supplier communications to run smoothly
  • Cleansing current data ensure every products code is correct
  • To ensure that the most appropriate persons contact details are held on each record for each company & supplier
  • Uploading product descriptions to the database and making sure the products are placed in the right categories

Duties

  • Ensure that client databases are kept up to date and ensure the reporting of KPI's internally is maintained and
  • Liaison with database providers and data intelligence providers
  • Evaluate data to provide weekly and monthly reports, identifying data patterns and trends.
  • Work with all members of the team to target feedback requests and provide them with information they need for project planning.
  • Work alongside the Board and internal teams to deliver Business Plans.
  • Attendance and representation at board meetings, when required
  • To maintain, develop and add to the CRM platform.

Personal Skills/Experience

  • Excellent IT & Administrative skills (Excel, Google Drive in particular)
  • Excellent data analytics skills are vital
; experience with reading & interpreting data and transforming it into a narrative, producing attractive, informative reports that show trends

  • Excellent presentational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
