Exciting Management Accountant role - Immediate start available

Reed Finance are pleased to be working with a long standing, highly successful company based in Carlisle.

The business offers bespoke services to a wide client base and are at the forefront of innovation within their industry and focus on providing a professional,honest service to their clients.

We are looking for an experienced (ideally qualified) Management Accountant that will report into the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for providing crucial financial information to side the business in achieving strategic goals.

This is a pivotalrole overseeing a small team and will be responsible for providing detailed financial information across the business.

Day to day duties of the role

Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts
Provide cost and variance analysis
Identify areas for cost savings and improve profitability
Communicate financial information to nonfinancial managers
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles
Continuously improve financial processes and systems

Skills & Experience required for success

Professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) qualified by experience & part qualified will also be considered
Minimum of 3 years of experience in management accounting or a related field
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in accounting software and Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
