In-House Assistant Tax Manager

£65,000 - £75,000

City of London - hybrid working model

A growing and entrepreneurial financial services business is looking for a recently qualified corporate tax professional to add to the London team.

This opportunity is approximately an equal split of compliance, reporting and advisory responsibilities, with a balance of covering both UK and overseas matters

Specific responsibilities will include:

Group tax reporting and UK corporate tax compliance
Supporting with tax forecasting and budgeting, and cash tax processes
Supporting with transfer pricing, countrybycountry reporting and acquisition structuring
Liaison with outsourced advisors for managing ongoing tax compliance arrangements
Assisting in managing relations and enquiries with tax authorities
Supporting the wider team with tax governance and additional tax matters as required (including indirect and withholding taxes)

This makes an ideal opportunity for the recently qualified tax advisor from the Big 4 or a top 10 professional practice who is looking to broaden their technical remit, in-house.

ACA/CTA qualification, likely recently qualified
Solid UK corporate tax experience, including supporting with tax compliance and reporting processes
International tax and M&A experience considered advantageous, alongside any exposure to wider taxes
The right to work permanently in the UK
