Senior TechnicianSenior Technician Role
As one of the Senior Technicians, you will take a proactive approach to building, deploying and maintaining complex R&D instrumentation incorporating a range of products and devices while working alongside multiskilled Scientists and Engineers.
You will troubleshoot and record issues while performing a range of tests with mínimal guidance to ensure the highest Quality standards are adhered to in line with ISO 13485.
Senior Technician Responsibilities:
- Primary contact for all inspections to support product registrations
- Plan and develop engineering projects and responsibilities
- Provide technical input and oversight to the wider business and Scientific teams
- Build, troubleshoot, and deploy specialised instrumentation incorporating microfluidics
- Proactively seek to improve the performance and reliability of R&D devices
- Prototype and assemble parts using the equipment required
- Procure and maintain stocks of parts
- Draft and maintain documentation within a regulated ISO 13485 environment
- SOP's, instructions and assist with BOM's
Senior Technician Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years working with medical devices or IVD's
- Selfmotivated
- Multiskilled with the assembly of R&D devices, rags and fixtures
- Capable of drafting SOP's and further reports
- Basic CAD experience and other fault tracking software
