About the role:


Trident Search are on the look out for an experienced Head of Security Consulting for one of the leading MSSP's in the UK right now You will be working with the Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) and will be responsible for delivering the Security Consulting Service to clients of the MSSP.


You will outlining and defining the Security Consulting strategy, leading improvement of the function, taking ownership of accounts and continuing to establish strong relationships with customers - all the while being a natural people manager and leading a team to provide first-class service to clients.

You will also lead on resource management, forecast planning for the function in collaboration with the Business Ops Manager.


What you'll bring

  • Partnering with the CDO to define the core security consulting strategy, facilitating new service integration into consulting services that promotes and enables business best practice to be implemented.
  • Advocating for continuous improvements within the consulting function for maximum operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for colleague leadership and the development of a high performing consultancy team.
  • Accountable for KPI's, and ensuring ownership is in place for all accounts.
  • Be a point of escalation for the consulting team.
  • Build on client relationships and secure extensions and expansions through demonstrated value in delivery excellence providing a senior point of contact for key accounts.

Desired skills & experience:


  • 5+ years at running and building a consulting function.
  • Experience of a cyber security environment.
  • Demonstratable experience of strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstratable experience of leading a high performing team.
  • Experience of growing and expanding client accounts.
  • Budget management.
  • Awareness of industry best practice, trends and emerging thinking.
  • Proficient ability to manage complex budgets
  • Commercial astuteness and negotiation skills
