Description
The Growth Company's Employment Team are looking for a Restart Employer Engagement Consultant who is target-driven with excellent people skills to provide quality recruitment service to the Growth Company Employment customers and employers.
Customers can range from adults aged 18+, colleagues of The Growth Company, Job Centre Plus and Pre-employment/Apprenticeship Training Providers all with the shared goal which is to build opportunities and generate positive employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a range of activity which produces leads and creates the opportunity to sell products and services to employers.
- Direct marketing / sales activity digitally, telephone based and in person.
- Attendance at employer events / networking events / stakeholder events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders, for the benefit of the business and contracts worked on.
- Analyse market trends and Identify key employers and sectors.
- Source suitable vacancies by conducting direct employer sales and customer reverse marketing sales activity.
- Advertise all vacancies internally (and externally where appropriate) in a clear and concise manner, prescreen all customers thoroughly prior to submission ensuring they appropriately match the employer's requirements and arrange interviews.
- Meet customers regularly to ensure a good knowledge of the customer base and vacancies needed.
- Ensure all MI is up to date and all relevant systems are updated daily.
- Use your communication Skills and experience to build your network.
About You:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate with employers, maximising sales as well as managing expectations and dealing with complaints.
- Good knowledge of welfare to work and the customer base.
- Flexible approach to work including willingness to travel and working occasional unsociable hours.
- Excellent stakeholder Management with an ability to contact decision makers, identifying business opportunities and closing contracts.
Requirements:
- Must have previous sales experience/Recruitment experience.
- Networking and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Recent experience of working to challenging targets within a sales environment.
- Be an individual who is KPI driven and can work well under challenging targets.
- Have knowledge of recruitment and training services.
- Excellent knowledge of the local labour market, methods of recruitment and growth industries.
- Good knowledge of welfare to work and the customer base.
- Access to a car. is desirable.
Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus scheme

- Liverpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
