At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.

The regular office hours are 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 - 13:00 on a Friday.

However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.


Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.


Role


This role is part of Honda Finance Europe (HFE) Risk & Compliance team reporting into the Head of Risk & Compliance.

Working as part of a team, the role will provide the department with full administrative support.


Main Responsibilities

  • Organise, circulate, complete and submit all Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) reporting.
  • Complete and communicate the monthly Compliance Officers Report consisting of Claims and Litigation information to Honda Motor Europe (HME)
  • Maintaining HFE's fraud reporting systems. (Cifas C6 National Crime Agency)
  • Compile data for Internal audits
  • Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) Statistical reporting and surveys
  • Preparation and construction of meeting and committee slides
  • Management and delegation of the HFE Compliance inbox
  • Management of the companies document framework, document periodic review process and document maintenance
  • Develop and assist in maintaining HFE Policies, Processes and Procedures
  • Politically Exposed Persons (PEP's) referral reviews
  • Set new starters up on training platforms and remove leavers
  • Maintain training records for all associates across the business using multiple platforms
  • Liaison with consumer credit regulators and agencies
  • Training statistics monthly reporting
  • Responsible for maintenance of multiple logs and trackers for documentation and reference purposes
  • Assist and support in the operationalisation of regulatory requirement

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Required:

  • Be able to demonstrate a highly organised accurate approach to your work.
  • Ability to structure a plan, analyse and review effectively.
  • Selfstarter that can be relied upon to ensure objectives are achieved to deadline.
  • Effective Communicator at all levels.
  • Good knowledge and use of Microsoft office programs and IT environments.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Finance
