FP&A Manager

Location - Blackpool
Salary - £46,000 DOE + bonus

Simpson Judge are working with an innovate and collaborative logistics company, with offices based in Blackpool.

My client is looking for someone who can play a key role in improving both the short-term and long-term planning to drive business success.

What would my main responsibilities be?

Create recommendations to be presented to management and stakeholders.
Develop financial models to support planning, and forecasting.
Reconcile existing transactions through crossreferencing of incoming and outgoing data.
Maintain uptodate technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends.
Analysis and monitoring of KPIs and metrics including sales reporting, payment, and supply chain targets.
Collate and analyse information used for Group reporting requirements.
Assist in analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
Reconciliation of flow through internal business systems
Providing an essential role in the company's annual budgeting process
Productivity, utilisation, and capacity analysis
Creating formats to highlight attention areas and variances.
Monitor all adhoc requests and prepare appropriate reports for analysis.
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending internal workshops.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Any other duties as assigned to fulfil the business needs.

Experience/Skills

Qualified or part qualified in recognised Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Proven FP&A experience
Excellent and engaging presentation skills
Selfstarter with excellent interpersonal communication skills
Experience of working in a fastmoving group reporting function.
Continuous improvement mentality to constantly push the output forward.
Creative problem solver with a willingness to be held to account.
Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing technologydriven culture.
Must be proficient at analysing data, building, reporting, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
Strong IT knowledge with advanced Excel skills, Power Bi and SQL programming.
Netsuite and Lucanet experience desirable
