Responsibilities:


  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the office operations
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
  • Conduct data entry and type up / analyse bank statements
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using Xero or similar software
  • Provide general clerical support such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
  • Assist with organizing company events or meetings as needed
  • Liaise with clients about accounting matters
  • Occassionally phone HMRC


There is an opportunity to progress in this role and learn the role of an accountant, progressing with the firm or adding some great skills to your CV.

Although we have put the start date as 1 December 2023, this is flexible and we can discuss this.


Qualifications:

  • Understanding and good knowledge of office suite (outlook, excel, word)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Familiarity with Xero or other accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Previous experience in an office administrative role is preferred
  • Knowledge of general clerical procedures and office management practices
  • Professional phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary:
From £11,000.00 per year


Expected hours:
No less than 20 per week

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
